Accreditations
For our cord blood and adult stem cell banking services, AssureImmune is in the process of being fully accredited by some of the most renowned and widely respected industry organizations and certification programs. The following is a list of associations and accreditation programs or guidelines that AssureImmune is currently following - AABB (formerly called the American Association of Blood Banks), ISO (International Organization for Standardization), the International Council for Commonality in Blood Bank Automation (ICCBBA) and the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT)
As a member of the AABB, AssureImmune is currently adhering to the association certification guidelines and expects to complete the certification process for collecting and preserving cord blood and adult stem cells within the next 12-24 months. The AABB is an international organization recognized for its highest standards of medical, technical and administrative performance; scientific investigation; and clinical application. Being accredited by this institution instills confidence with our clients as it is one of the premier accreditation programs in the blood industry. It reviews the quality and operational systems in place within our facility including compliance with Tissue and Hematopoietic Progenitor Cells Standards, Code of Federal Regulations and other federal guidance documents.

AssureImmune is also applying for accreditation by the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT). This organization sets the standards for high quality medical and laboratory practice in cellular therapies. FACT is also co-founded by the International Society for Cellular Therapy (ISCT) and the American Society of Blood and Marrow Transplantation (ASBMT).
